CSUS Hellenic Studies Lecture: The U.S. Role In The Greek Debt Crisis And Its Effect On Transatlantic Relations
Ms. Katerina Sokou (Visiting Scholar, Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, Washington DC Correspondent for Kathimerini newspaper, and principle news intelligence reporter for SKAI TV) will be coming to Sacramento State University on Thursday, February 22nd to discuss, “The U.S. role in the Greek debt crisis and its Effect on Transatlantic Relations.”
Ms. Sokou will focus on the political relations between the United States and Greece during the economic crisis. She will highlight the relations between successive Greek Prime Ministers and President Obama. The lecture and reception will be held in the Petris Room, Tsakopoulos Collection at 7:00 pm.
