Join us April 5, 2014, starting at 6:00 pm for the Opening Night Reception of “The Greeks on the Road to World War I.” the exhibition will be housed at Sacramento State University Library, University Library Gallery.
In conjunction to the Exhibition, we are honored to have two esteemed visitors Dr. Andre Gerolymatos, Professor of History and Director of the Stavros Niarchos Centre for Hellenic Studies and Harris Mylonas, Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University.
Dr. Andre Gerolymatos lecture titled “Brits Bearing Gifts, Venizelos and Churchill on the Eve of the First World War” will be held in conjunction with the opening night reception for “The Greeks on the Road to World War I” exhibit on April 5th at 6pm presented by the Sacramento State University Hellenic Studies Program. The Tsakopoulos Hellenic Collection Petris Room, located on the 3rd floor of the Sacramento State Library.
Dr. Harris Mylonas lecture titled “The Politics of Nation-Building in the Post-World I Balkans”will be held on Wednesday April 9th at 7:00 pm in The Tsakopoulos Hellenic Collection Petris Room, located on the 3rd floor of the Sacramento State Library.
Both the Exhibition and Lectures are free and open to the public & a parking pass for the Exhibition opening reception and lecture by Dr. Andre Gerolymatos is available for printing on the uploaded image for anyone interested in attending the presentation.
